Well, as you know, Andy had a disappointing Astros debut. The crowd was still appreciative and welcoming, though : )

Hey Everyone!! My name is Michelle im 16 and from Rhode Island. I saw this and I knew I could not pass up joining. I love even though he is not a Yankee anymore. He was me and my dads fav player and then he left =( Not to sound like a baby but I cryed!! I still get weepy when I see him not in his pin stripes lol

No matter what I think he is the best pitcher out there and will always be a fan, no matter what team he is playing for. I just wont see him play anymore =(

Anyway its good to have a community for Andy! He ROCKS MY SOCKS!

It sucks that Andy went to Houston but the Astros and the Yankees will be in the World Series in 2004 so that will be sick.

Went to the Astros game today, and guess who was pitching? Thats right, our dear old Andy. So more pictures are up on my yahoo page. Got REALLY close to getting his autograph, but just missed. It was still really cool and he pitched 3 good innings, 2 Ks, 1 hit and no BB. Here's the link to the pictures

Enjoy!

AndyPic of the Day:

And according the Astros' official site, he's supposed to pitch their second game of the season. (Clemens is pitching the third.)

We're going to have spiffy new icons and maybe even a customized layout here soon! Yay.

And make sure you look for Andy (and Roger Clemens) at the Super Bowl. Anyone have any idea what they're actually doing there?

Here's the Andy Pettitte poster I've had in my room forever. The Twin Towers image used to be covered with ribbons when seeing it was too upsetting. Such a beautiful image. Needless to say, it's stayed up for awhile, even traveling to college dorm rooms in Boston.

hey guys! when i saw this community up, i knew i had to join.

i've had the privledge of seeing andy pitch on countless occasions at the stadium (including his last win at the stadium, game 2 of the world series) and i'll admit, i took them all forgranted. as the whole crowd, including myself, cheered andy's name as he was removed from the game that night in the 9th inning, i said to my dad, "this could be the last time we see andy pitch at yankee stadium!" "no," he said, "george will resign him, if he didn't, he'd be a fool." and i thought, "he's right, they'll resign him.."

WRONG.

well, i guess andy really wanted to play closer to home. he'll be missed by everyone. i wish him all the luck in the world :)

- now the question is, how will the yankees go on without andy? he was, in my opinion, our best pitcher. again, in my opinion, he's the best lefty in the game now. and with the recent stuff about wells signing in san diego, the yankees have no LHPs in their rotation. which i guess is mussina, brown, vasquez, contreras, and lieber (which, who knows if he's even ready to pitch. i haven't heard anything about it..)

i'll miss andy so much.
