Fans of Andy
hey guys! when i saw this community up, i knew i had to join.|
i've had the privledge of seeing andy pitch on countless occasions at the stadium (including his last win at the stadium, game 2 of the world series) and i'll admit, i took them all forgranted. as the whole crowd, including myself, cheered andy's name as he was removed from the game that night in the 9th inning, i said to my dad, "this could be the last time we see andy pitch at yankee stadium!" "no," he said, "george will resign him, if he didn't, he'd be a fool." and i thought, "he's right, they'll resign him.."
well, i guess andy really wanted to play closer to home. he'll be missed by everyone. i wish him all the luck in the world :)
- now the question is, how will the yankees go on without andy? he was, in my opinion, our best pitcher. again, in my opinion, he's the best lefty in the game now. and with the recent stuff about wells signing in san diego, the yankees have no LHPs in their rotation. which i guess is mussina, brown, vasquez, contreras, and lieber (which, who knows if he's even ready to pitch. i haven't heard anything about it..)
i'll miss andy so much.
